Terms of use

Last updated: 1 November 2026

1. General

Freedu is a free learning platform. All materials are available free of charge and without an account. Contact: freedu559@gmail.com.

2. Accounts

Accounts are free and optional. You may create one if you are 16 or older, or younger with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. You can delete your account at any time in the settings.

3. Community notes

By uploading notes you confirm that you wrote them or have the right to share them, and that they contain no personal data of other people. You grant Freedu a free, non-exclusive licence to store, publish and offer the notes for download on the service. The licence ends when you delete the note (except for copies already downloaded by others).

4. Prohibited content

  • material that infringes copyright, in particular scans or copies of other publishers’ textbooks, exercise books and protected exam papers;
  • personal data of other people (e.g. names, phone numbers, photos);
  • offensive, discriminatory or vulgar content, or content unsuitable for children;
  • advertising, spam, links to paid services;
  • files containing malware, macros or scripts.

5. Moderation

Every note is reviewed before publication. Moderators may reject or remove a note, giving a reason, and may block accounts for serious or repeated violations. Approval does not mean that Freedu has fact-checked every statement in a note.

6. Reports

Unlawful content or content breaking these terms can be reported with the “Report” button or through the infringement notice procedure.

7. Liability

We work to keep Freedu materials accurate, but they are provided as they are. Authors are responsible for the content of their community notes.

8. Changes

We will announce material changes to these terms on the site. Continuing to use your account after a change means you accept it; you can also delete your account at any time.
